What:

October 20 – 21  Opening Ceremony and ‘24 Hours of Wonder’

Join our local community partner the Nomadic School of Wonder for an adventure in awe starting with a sensory journey on the evening of October 20 at Rancho Gallina Eco-Retreat. During our sensory feast, the traveling troupe of artists & wonder makers from the Nomadic School of Wonder co-create moments of participatory storytelling, immersive theater, and community song. Our opening ceremony will feature Concha Garcia Allen & Donza Tonantzin de Analco Aztec dance group.  As the sun sets, our evening of wonder progresses with mariachi music from the Carlos Medina Trio.

The next morning, we’re invited to The Wonder of Horse Medicine with some of the biggest heart healers on the planet at A Chance of A Lifetime Horse Sanctuary. Founders Erica Hess and Joost Lammers will guide our group through activities that will bring us into embodied presence and deep connection with these wondrous creatures.

Join your hosts Chip Conley and Jake Haupert for a very special three day “Owning Your Wisdom” workshop where you’ll embark on an archeological journey to unearth your innate wisdom.   

In this dynamic and immersive workshop, you’ll learn how to:

• Make more informed and ethical decisions about your travel choices

• Develop a goal oriented, transformative travel practice

• Catalyze travel experiences into compassion and wisdom that enrich your life and the lives of others

• Discover your unique gift, nurture its growth, and generously share it with others

• Cultivate the art of being a "motivational listener" and a perceptive "first-class noticer"

• Build wisdom-centric practices that benefit both you and your teams or groups

• Develop “crystallized intelligence” to become a holistic thinker

• Embody the belief that “wisdom is not taught; it’s shared”

• Foster stronger intergenerational connections through the power of mutual mentorship

• Join a collective movement dedicated to co-creating a more ethical tourism and a wiser world

The goal is for you to confidently walk away from this retreat into the next chapter of life, ready to share your precious gifts with the world.

Who:

MEA’s Wisdom School’s founder, best-selling author and hospitality guru Chip Conley and the Transformational Travel Council's founder Jake Haupert will be your hosts for this transformative event.

Suggested Donation:

The Wonder Experience: $5,000 to $10,000 USD ($2 to 9K is tax-deductible)

The Wisdom Retreat: $10,000 to $20,000 USD ($5 to 15K is tax-deductible)

Both the Wonder and Wisdom Retreat: $15,000 to $30,000 USD ($15 to 25K is tax-deductible)
